About Us

Michael D. McCorkle, P.A. (MDMPA) provides Online Florida Real Estate Law Courses for Real Estate Licensees and Consumers who desire to become Real Estate Licensees. Headquartered in Nokomis, Florida, we are a leading publisher/provider of e-Learning Real Estate Law Course Content and e-Learning Services.

Every day, MDMPA receives emails and telephone calls asking why the tuition for our Florida Sales Associate Pre-License Package is hundreds of dollars below those of our competitors. The answer to our low-cost tuition is simple: As a Florida Real Estate Law Publishing Company, MDMPA offers its own copyrighted, Self-Paced Online Courses directly to the Learner - no middleman!

Most of our competitors
are simply
"middlemen"
Most of our competitors are simply "middlemen" who use course materials authored and published by another Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) approved real estate law publishing company. Our competitors are forced to "mark-up" course tuition to Online Learners in order to cover the cost of purchasing instructional materials from that FREC approved publisher. Consequently, Learners who enroll are forced to pay unreasonably high tuition fees.

Over the past two (2) decades, MDMPA's instructional materials have been used to train thousands of Florida Real Estate Licensees in the Classroom and Online. MDMPA's instructional materials are the result of knowing what works in the classroom and moving that time-tested information to the convenience of Internet Delivery.

Course Registration Policies

Prior to purchasing a course, please read the following information pertaining to Online Florida Real Estate Law Courses offered by MDMPA.
  • Tuition Fees: The tuition fee for any "Training Package" or "Course" is as currently listed on MDMPA's Website or within the Course Catalog. Note: Course tuitions are subject to change.

  • Length of Course Registration: The length of Course Registration for any particular Course is as currently listed within the Course Catalog. For the most part, MDMPA allows a Learner three (3) months from the date of his or her registration to complete a course. Thirty (30) day extensions are granted at a cost of $25 per additional month. A Learner (student) must complete any course purchased within one (1) year from the date of purchase. If you have any questions related to a particular course prior to enrolling, please email our registration staff at MMcCorkle@comcast.net.

  • MDMPA Refund Policy: No refund will be granted to any Learner who fails the End-of-Course Examination for any course or for any Learner who utilizes any portion of online service for any course. Any and all requests for refunds must be made within one year from the payment date for the subject original course and any such refund request must be submitted in writing to the Corporate Mailing Address for MDMPA at:

    Michael D. McCorkle, P.A.
    P.O. Box 5
    Nokomis, FL 34274

After review of a request for refund, the manager's discretion will be used to determine any qualifying refund and an administrative fee of $50.00 will be assessed on each such approved refund.

  • Online Pre-License and Post-License Course Content: Web based online Pre-License and Post-License Course Content offered by MDMPA is self contained and consists of information and examinations approved by the Florida DBPR. As required by the law in Florida, distance learning courses must be completed by Online Examination.

  • Timed End-of-Course Examination: The only portion of any Internet Delivered Pre-License or Post-License Course that is timed is the End-of-Course Examination. Once started, a Learner has three (3) hours to complete the applicable End-of-Course Examination. A passing score for FREC Course I is 70% and THE STUDENT MUST COMPLETE THE EXAM IN ONE THREE (3) HOUR TESTING SESSION.

  • Re-Test End-of-Course Examinations: As provided by Florida law, any Learner who does not successfully complete the End-of-Curse Examination must wait at least thirty (30) days (but not more than one year) to retake the End-of-Course Examination. During this thirty (30) day waiting period, the Learner is able to access course materials for study purposes. Any student failing an End-of-Course Examination for a second time will be required to pay the full tuition fee again and complete the entire course again.

  • Course Access, Enrollment and Support: Upon registration for any Online Distance Learning Course, a Learner is sent an email with Course Orientation Information, access/enrollment information and support instructions. Instructions for obtaining course support from a Florida permitted instructor or technical support are provided under the "Help and Support" bottom at the lower right corner of the Online Course Viewer. Questions related to the content of a particular educational course, the end-of-session questions or the end-of-course examination are answered by a Florida-licensed real estate instructor, who is available via email and telephone. A Learner's inquiries to the instructor will be answered within twenty-four (24) hours on any business day Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST via either email or telephone.

  • Learner Affidavit: The State of Florida requires each Learner to sign an Affidavit stating, "I certify that I personally completed all assignments and have not duplicated any portion of the End-of-Course Examination prior to the taking of the final examination." Upon passing the End-of-Course Examination, each Learner must provide this statement information on the state required Learner Affidavit. A copy of this Learner Affidavit is stored in the "Digital Library" for the Florida Sales Associate Pre-License Course. Each Learner must print, sign and mail an original Learner Affidavit to MDMPA at the address shown in #3. This Learner Affidavit MUST BE received by MDMPA prior to MDMPA being legally permitted to issue a Notice of Course Completion Certificate to the Learner.

  • User Acceptance: Registration indicates understanding and acceptance of these stated MDMPA Policy.

Scoring Test Results

Upon completion of each "Lesson Progress Test", a Learner receives test results immediately upon submission for scoring. Then, the Learner may review each question and those missed provide "feedback" indicating the correct answer. When a passing grade of seventy (70%) percent or higher is achieved, the Learner is permitted to move on to the next lesson.

When all lessons and progress tests in the course have been completed, the Learner gains access to the End-of-Course Examination. Upon completion of the "End-of-Course Examination", a Learner receives examination results immediately after submitting the test for scoring. Upon satisfactory passage of the End-of-Course Examination and receipt of the Learner's Affidavit, MDMPA processes and sends the Learner an Official Course Completion Report by first class mail.

When a Learner fails to pass the End-of-Course Examination, he/she must contact MDMPA via email to request a Re-Examination. Please note: The state requires a thirty (30) day waiting period prior to retaking the End-of-Course Examination and it permits a learner only to retake the End-of-Course Examination one-time without reenrolling and retaking FREC Course I again.

Notice of Course Completion Certificate

Upon passing the End-of-Course Examination, a Learner must fill-out the state required Learner Affidavit and then, sign and mail it to MDMPA. This Learner Affidavit MUST BE received by MDMPA so processing and issuance of the Notice of Course Completion can occur.

Licensees must retain the Notice of Course Completion (certificate) for at least two (2 years). If the Department of Business and Professional Regulation audits a licensee, he/she is required to send an original or copy of the Course Completion Report as proof of successful meeting of educational requirements. MDMPA shall not be liable in any way for failure of a student to retain a course completion certificate or for the grading of a final examination within any specific time period.

Note: Until an Applicant's Professional Real Estate License Number is issued, the State of Florida uses that Applicant's Social Security Number as an "Applicant Identifier".
